KOCO needed some help getting the word out on the rollout.
Here's part of the story:
"The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority granted 23 patient licenses Saturday, the day the application window opened. Since then, thousands more people and businesses have applied for a license.
"I used to be on 6-10 milligrams hydrocodones a day," said John Frasure, whose medical marijuana license has been approved. "I haven't taken them in three years, so I will take a tremendous amount and the quality of my life, it will go up tremendously."
Although Oklahomans are getting their medical marijuana cards in the mail, they'll have to wait a bit longer before they can actually get product.
Medical Marijuana applications are officially online!
This video serves as an excellent primer on the process. Don't be intimidated! You can do this and there are plenty of good Oklahomans who will help, if you still need it. Check with your local CBD shop. They will either help you or know someone locally who can.
